Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron
Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach in March 1989, is among the most well-known and wealthy Pole Vaulters. She became a pole jumper in 2007 after a picture of her at her track event was posted at the age of 17. Instagram and Twitter both have a massive fan base on social media. Stokke is an athlete and is on the same track similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times reported, along with other publications it claimed that Stokke never sought out such public attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society contrasted Stokke's circumstance with that of American female athletes in soccer, Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. They claimed that their sports achievements were tarnished due to the sexualization and fetishization which was applied to their image. In relation to Stokke, they noted that the majority of posts on social media contained insults. They also blamed the sexualisation of women. Many drew a comparison with Brandi's victory celebration at the FIFA World Cup Final in 1999 sporting a t-shirt that she wore to the sport. Sports events for women are often dragged under the shadow of the debate over their appearance. The online journalist snapped photos of Stokke's performance at New York, early in 2007. With Leather, a popular sports website that attracts many male readers and re-posted the image in May with the caption Pole Vaulting Is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford had threatened to take action against the photographer for failing to taking down the photo. But the story was already widely circulated and had attracted a lot of attention. Stokke was able to create a website that was dedicated to her and featured images of her at the pole vault. The photos were shared across social media, they were viewed by hundreds of thousands. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wanted to finish her high school education in Florida. In 1974, she finished her high school graduation, but decided to try an alternative route by taking an internship. Alyce is proud to be the sister of a professor. Her family is supportive of her sister, who is an academic at a university. Alyce has a family home in Texas since her father is employed by The U.S. Army. They celebrated their father's birthday the year before. Alyce is using social media to thank her father for his service in the U.S. Army, and to showcase her gorgeous daughter. She is attentive to her studies, and she has been a winner at the National merit Scholarship offered by the University. In 2022, she was celebrating her 22nd birthday.
