Born on October 18, 1984 American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired has won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. She holds the second-highest super score among skiers whether female or male. She is the top skier of all-time and one of the most well-known athletes throughout her home country of the United States. Caroline Vonn who is also called Lindsey Vonn and competes as a World Cup skier for The US Ski Team. She has won the World Cup four times. The athlete that has earned an impact in American culture. She is among just six women to has won in each of the five Alpine Skiing World Cup events. The American has won an impressive 82 World Cup titles in all. In the wake of the World Championships that took place in Sweden one of the best and most experienced American ski racers will retire. Four-time World Cup winner decided to quit after suffering from several illnesses. Social media was utilized to make her announcement of retirement. Next week I'll compete in the final race of my career in the Downhill as well as the SG World Championships in Re Sweden.
