Coleman was born in the Lancashire town of Blackpool. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight As for A-levels. When discussing her character from Emmerdale, Coleman expressed regret for not attending a university. Coleman joined a theater company, In Yer Space while at school. They performed at the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. The play also got an enthusiastic reception. She was awarded with a prestigious award for her performance. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman got the role of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated in 2007 for two Awards. She was nominated for two awards. British Soap Awards nominated her as best newcomer. In the National Television Awards, she was also nominated as the most popular newcomer. The British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman for both category of Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman is nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press conference held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat decided to put her in the role as she had the most chemistry Smith. Additionally, she was quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her work in the business since 1987, and has been part of various TV shows and films. The most well-known of her roles was television. Eva's TV roles on Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. Eva was nominated for the two "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played as well as having the an opportunity to explore her artistic talents. Eva, in addition to acting, is a philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur. She has been married thrice and also has a daughter with her second husband.
