Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American performer, singer and voice-actor. Ariel began her acting career young appearing in the Cool Whip commercial at age 6. When she was 7 Ariel landed her first TV role in an episode of CBS's popular sitcom, Listen Up! After these roles, she went on to appear in Monk Bones and ER. In 2007 was cast in the character of Gretchen for the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. The actress made her debut live-action role as Alex Dunphy in the hit TV series Modern Family two years later. With her Modern Family co-stars, she received four Screen Actors Guild Awards for outstanding performance by an ensemble cast in the comedy show. Ariel is still doing voice-over work on films such as ParaNorman Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel has earned a Purple Black Belt in Taekwondo. Ariel is the younger sister of the actors Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman. She is a member of a band named WickedSweet and is a lover of singing.
