Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress most well known for her performance in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah, born to an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father works as a lawyer at the Madras High Court. There is also one younger sister, currently employed as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai attended National Public School. He completed his studies at Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical pianist, who was extremely geeky. In her twenties, she became an active member of the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the basis of her first performing and music composition career. She also worked as an actress in her college. Then she was an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea started her acting career with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her was a part-time actress in a leo commercial alongside actor Shiva. Also, she acted as a part of a character in the Podhigai series. She has performed roles in India. She had a small role for the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to be one of his lead female characters in Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed, with Andrea playing Kalyani who is a housewife her husband who is caught in an affair and is threatened with blackmail. Andrea was part of the cast in the aftermath of Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. The film was released in early 2010. She agreed in 2011 to perform a tiny part in the multi-starrer film of Venkatprabhu Mankatha and it was premiered in August of 2011. The actress made her Malayalam debut on film in Rajeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
