Sharp is an Rochester native, who was educated in clarinet at the Hochstein School of Music. Also, she played piano and cello. Sharp's passion for theatre during her high school years was what led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she was given a scholarship. She received her B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp after she graduated. Sharp began her journey to the stage. Sharp performed on her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Other theatre performances include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp's work is not limited to stage or screen. Sharp has written and co-written several projects. Sharp continues to perform and is in the process of putting together the full-length album. Sharp she is frequently either in front of or behind the camera or in the recording studio for music, also enjoys staying fit. Sharp studies Krav Maga as well as boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, go hiking and taking a long trips on the road. Sharp lives with her husband and children and lives in Los Angeles.
