Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
When she was initially inspired through the shadows she saw on the grass of trees She worked over a period of months to develop a technique which does not portray the subject in a 2-dimensional picture. The object becomes a representation that is its own with the canvas carrying the painterly interpretation of the object. This is especially true when it is a living object or perishable like people or fruit. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting and the image is the only thing that is left. Because the photography and painting techniques are synchronized so tightly it creates an illusion of trompe l'oeil, that creates the illusion of 3D can only be seen at specific locations, like the eye area or hair. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models within the surrounding space. It allows them to engage with the environment she has created. In this way, she blurs the lines between painting, photography, performances and installations.
