Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her irresistible electronic pop tunes "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary musician with her distinctive singing voice that is soprano and the ability of making songs that are captivating and empathetic. She is similar in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists with similar styles. The final decision was to sign a major label deal with Polydor Records and began making plans to launch her debut album.
